Our Accommodation

Our lodge aims to keep you warm and comfortable with a good relaxing vibe.
All our rooms are heated and all beds fully made up with sheets and duvets.
Ivory towers consists of three self-contained lodges. The two smaller lodges can accommodate 12 people and are ideal for small groups or large families.

Facilities

We have three well equipped kitchens. The main kitchen comes with two ovens and many cook tops, and is normally a very social area, with both indoor and outdoor areas with the outdoor areas backing onto the Westland national park.

During the summer months we do have a spectacular cottage, close to the famous Lake Matheson. The cottage has two double rooms with a shared bathroom, and an ensuite double with possible the best view of the mountains available in Fox Glacier.

The lodge has a quiet lounge with four email terminals complete with skype and card readers. In the winter we have a lovely wood fire to keep you warm.

We also have a fun TV room/cinema with possible close to 350 movies (yes this is the west coast and we do get the odd wet day).

If after a trip on the glacier you need to relax we have a lovely sauna to help with the aches and pains.

Rates

We offer a wide range of accommodation for both the adventurous and budget traveler.

We cater for the individual and the group traveler.

Ivorytowers consists of three lodges, the smaller ones can accommodate up to 12 and are fully self contained with their own bathrooms, kitchens, lounges with t.v and video.

All of the beds are fully made up with sheets and duvets.

The lodge boasts a very large free video selection (for those odd wet days), its own book exchange. The kitchens are fully equipped as well as free tea, sugar and herbs.

Rooms

Our rooms vary from Single rooms with T.V to six bed share rooms, double /twin rooms with and without en-suite and t.v., to family style rooms complete with ensuite , kitchens, video and t.v.

Most of our rooms are four share, and during the summer we have limited amount of camping spaces. Of course we also have a fully compliant disabled unit.

Currently we have three internet terminals, as well as Bike Hire and genuine backpacker information. We can give you reliable info on local walks, Glacier Walks, as well as the more adventurous activities and we can help you book them all.
